COLLEGE DANCE STUDENTS' JOURNEY TO PRAGUE College students from the New World School of the Arts Dance Division will attend the New Prague Dance Festival in the Czech Republic from July 1 to July 8, 2010. The festival brings dance companies from all over the world to take master classes, participate in workshops and seminars, share ideas and creative work with dancers from all over the world, visit museums and cultural sites.

At the final performance of the New Prague Dance Festive 2010, the New World School of the Arts got a standing ovation for the third time in a row. After the performance, awards were announced for best choreography, best dancers in many styles and two grand prizes.

The final two grand prizes were won by the New World School of the Arts College Dance Division. The first was a special award not juried by the international panel of judges, but awarded by the director of the festival for a company that moved him with their talent, professionalism, and ability to move audiences. The second and final - juried - award was the Grand Prix: the top prize given by the the New Prague dance festival.
